Description

Used Filling Line KHS for glass bottles up to 24000 bph

Introduction to the KHS Bottle Filling Line

We  present the KHS Bottle Filling Line, an advanced solution that significantly enhances bottling operations for businesses aiming to expand.  Capable of processing up to 24,000 glass bottles per hour, this line adapts to both returnable and non-returnable bottles, making it ideal for manufacturers of beer and soft drinks. Importantly, it integrates cutting-edge technology from Siemens and Krones, ensuring precision and reliability throughout the bottling process.

Initial Setup and Input Handling

Initially, at the start of the line, a Siemens-controlled KHS robot from 1998 efficiently handles the palletizing and depalletizing of the bottles. Consequently, a UNIMAC depalletizer from 2000 feeds bottles into the system at optimal speeds.

Cleaning and Preparation

Furthermore, the bottles then move through a series of cleaning stages including decapping, discharging, and thorough washing. Utilizing KHS and Gronemeyer equipment, controlled by Siemens S5 controllers, each bottle is meticulously cleaned to maintain high hygiene standards before filling.

Filling and Capping of the Used Filling Line KHS for glass bottles up to 24000 bph

Central to the line, a KHS bottle filler, outfitted with a Siemens S7 400 controller, fills bottles with remarkable accuracy and speed. Subsequently, NSM Magnettechnik equipment caps each bottle, and a MIHO inspector verifies seal integrity and fill levels.

Labeling and Final Inspection

Next, bottles advance to the labeling station where a Krones labeller applies labels with precision. This critical step includes a dual inspection to ensure each bottle meets quality standards in fill level and label application.

Packaging and End-of-Line Solutions

After passing inspection, an automated system loads bottles into crates and sends them through a final check before packaging. Specifically, the line features an INVOLVO cardboard packaging machine and a Meypack tray+foil packaging machine that securely and efficiently package bottles for distribution. Finally, completing the process, a semi-automatic Gema wrapping machine from 2015 wraps pallets for shipping.

Conclusion of the Used Filling Line KHS for glass bottles up to 24000 bph

Featuring Siemens automation technology in most components, this KHS Bottle Filling Line stands out for its efficiency and reliability in today’s high-demand beverage production environments. Moreover, it not only maximizes throughput but also ensures each product adheres to the highest quality and safety standards, making it an essential asset for any beverage producer looking to scale up operations.
