Description

 Used UHT Milk Preparation Plant

Milk Reception in the UHT Milk Preparation Room

The milk reception unit processes up to 10,000 liters per hour, initially collecting and storing raw milk. Furthermore, an outdoor fresh milk tank holds 40,000 liters and two indoor tanks store 20,000 liters each, effectively managing and segregating milk during the initial phases.

Milk Processing

The Used UHT Milk Preparation Room notably features an optional Milk Al-mix mixing pump that actively facilitates the preliminary homogenization of milk components. Moreover, an Alfa Laval brand pasteurizer, controlled by a PLC, processes 8,000 liters per hour, effectively neutralizing pathogens through controlled heating.

Homogenization and Separation

The 160-bar homogenizer handles 8,000 liters per hour of this UHT Milk Preparation Room, ensuring the fineness and uniformity of the product. Similarly, the Alfa Laval cream separator processes another 8,000 liters per hour, crucially dividing the milk into its fundamental components. Consequently, this stage is vital for the product consistency of the Used UHT Milk Preparation Room.

Storage and Maintenance of the UHT Milk Preparation Room

The system incorporates two pasteurized milk storage tanks, each equipped with a double jacket and a cooling coil, and each has a capacity of 20,000 liters for optimal thermal regulation. Additionally, nine product transfer pumps and three CIP return pumps from Alfa Laval maintain quality through controlled cleaning cycles. Therefore, these components are essential for maintaining the milk’s quality during storage.

Ultra-High Temperature and Asepsis

The Tetra Pak UHT plant, a tubular type with a capacity of 5,000 liters per hour, plays a central role in the ultra-high temperature treatment that significantly extends the milk’s shelf life. Moreover, a well-maintained 12,000-liter Tetra Pak aseptic tank, equipped with a valve system, ensures the aseptic integrity of the processed milk. Thus, this setup is critical for ensuring product safety.

Cleaning In Place (CIP) Units of the UHT Milk Preparation Room

Two CIP units of the Used UHT Milk Preparation Room are integrated into the system: one dedicated to processing equipment and another specific to the Tetra Al-safe system, emulating Tetra Pak technologies. These UHT Milk Preparation Room units play a crucial role in cleaning and sanitizing all components of the plant. Consequently, they ensure high standards of hygiene and product safety. Importantly, regular and effective cleaning ensures compliance with strict hygiene standards.
