Description
Used Line for olive oil production ALFALAVAL 1500 kg/h
The Used Line for olive oil production ALFALAVAL 1500 kg/h operates as a complete industrial system for processing extra virgin olive oil. It runs on a continuous three-phase cycle and offers a working capacity of 1500 kg/h, making it ideal for medium-to-high volume olive mills. In addition, the line includes all necessary electrical cables. The owner will dismantle the line by the end of April.
Electrical panel and control system
To begin with, the automation system relies on the EUROSEI control panel, rated for power up to 110 kW. Built in 1998, this panel manages all processing stages safely and efficiently. Moreover, it ensures optimal coordination between pumps, the decanter, and all processing equipment. Specifically, it enables seamless interaction between components and integrated safety systems. Consequently, the entire production process remains synchronized and protected against faults.
Crushing and paste transfer system
The system uses an Alfa Laval disc crusher, manufactured in 1998 and rated for 2000 kg/h, to perform the initial olive crushing. Subsequently, a Bellini paste pump transfers the crushed paste through a manual flow control system (VAR 20/1). For instance, Bellini Spa supplied a factory-new stator for this pump in 2006 to ensure long-term reliability. Additionally, a support frame—installed in 2006—securely holds both the crusher and the pump, minimizing vibrations and mechanical stress.
Malaxing and decanter feed in this Used Line for olive oil production
The malaxing stage follows immediately after crushing. It includes one single malaxer with 700 kg capacity and one double malaxer (700 + 700 kg), both built in 1997. Together, they allow flexible batch handling. Then, a VARMEC VAR 20/1 paste pump, installed in 1998, transfers the paste to the decanter. This pump features manual flow adjustment and also includes a factory-new stator. As a result, it provides consistent and precise feed regulation under varying load conditions.
Mechanical separation and auxiliary equipment
An Alfa Laval X4 three-phase decanter, built in 2006 and equipped with a variable speed drive, performs the main mechanical separation. Importantly, a Tecno2 inverter—installed in 2020—enables a controlled and gradual start-up. This feature protects both the clutch and bearings from mechanical stress. Furthermore, two Alfa Laval separators, model 507 (from 1989 and 1998), operate in alternation, thereby allowing continuous production even during scheduled cleaning operations. In other words, the system avoids downtime, which improves productivity.
Auxiliary components and system condition of this Used Line for olive oil production
In addition to core equipment, the line includes a 1998 heat exchanger (without boiler), a 2009 water pump, and a 2009 oil pump by El.Pro.M. Moreover, a vibrating screen (vibrovaglio)—installed in 1998—enhances fluid handling. This unit uses vibration to mechanically separate fine solids from vegetation water and emulsified oil. Therefore, it helps improve final product quality while preventing downstream clogging or premature equipment wear. Overall, the owner has maintained the Used Line for olive oil production ALFALAVAL 1500 kg/h in excellent condition. Each year, certified technicians have performed both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance. Finally, the sale includes the entire line, without the possibility of purchasing individual components.
