Line configuration for isobaric filling of carbonated soft drinks

The Used Filling Line for CSD 12000 bph fills PET bottles with carbonated soft drinks using isobaric technology. Since the isobaric process maintains pressure during filling, it preserves CO₂ saturation effectively. The system reaches a nominal output of 12,000 bottles per hour for 1.5-liter formats. Furthermore, it uses PCO 28 mm caps and operates on the Euro pallet packaging standard. Overall, the configuration is ideal for medium- to high-output CSD production.

High-pressure air supply for the blowing process in the Used Filling Line for CSD 12000 bph 

A high-pressure compressor, manufactured by SIAD (model MS3/1442-A3, year 2000), supplies compressed air to the blow molding machine. Specifically, it includes an air dryer and a 2000-liter air receiver to stabilize airflow. As a result, the compressor ensures consistent bottle formation. In addition, the unit supports continuous operation under high load, which is essential for large-scale PET blowing systems. Therefore, this component remains critical to upstream efficiency.

Blow molding machine for PET preforms with mold cooling system

The line includes a Sidel SBO 10 Series 2 blow molding machine (1999), which transforms PET preforms into bottles. Although molds are not included, the machine features a box tipper, a preform feeder, and a SOGEQUIP water cooling system for the molds. Consequently, the setup supports high-speed bottle production. Moreover, the system enables uninterrupted feeding toward the filling block, thereby minimizing downtime. Notably, the machine’s robust construction guarantees long-term reliability.

Rinser–filler–capper block with 60 valves and isobaric technology

SIDEL Alsim manufactured the central filler block in 2000. It integrates 60 rinsing heads, 60 isobaric filling valves, and a 10-head Alcoa capper. Thanks to this configuration, the system achieves high throughput while maintaining pressure consistency. In particular, the isobaric filler limits CO₂ loss and reduces foaming, which is crucial for CSD bottling. Additionally, it allows quick format changes, making the line adaptable to different production needs.

Automated high-capacity mixing system in the Used Filling Line for CSD 12000 bph 

The Moravek 240C mixer, installed in 2000, prepares and carbonates the beverage at a flow rate of 24,000 liters per hour. It combines syrup, treated water, and CO₂ in controlled ratios. Importantly, the mixer ensures product consistency before entering the filler. In turn, this reduces process variability. Similarly, its high capacity aligns perfectly with the filler’s speed, avoiding bottlenecks and enhancing line balance.

Automated labeling and packaging system

The post-filling section consists of a Krones Contiroll labeling machine (2004), which applies wrap-around OPP labels. Following labeling, a Dimac Bluestar shrink wrapper (film only) performs secondary packaging. Then, the system routes packs to a CEFMA handle applicator. Subsequently, an IHS palletizer with a pallet magazine stacks the products. Finally, a Pragometa Rotomatic wraps the pallets with stretch film. Together, these machines create a fully automated end-of-line solution.

Optimized internal conveying system in this Used line for CSD

The line includes air conveyors from Rafale Technologie, bottle conveyors, and pack conveyors. Each of these ensures smooth product transfer from one stage to another. As a result, the system reduces accumulation points and improves overall flow. Not only does this configuration support continuous production, but it also simplifies integration with other machines.
