    Description

    Used Index-6 Filling and Capping Spreads and Sauces Unit 2014

    The filling unit, known as the “Index Indose,” is PLC and servo weight-controlled, allowing it to efficiently fill quantities ranging from 250 grams to 3 kilograms. Depending on the specific product, the filling speed can range from a minimum of 2000 pieces to a maximum of 4500 pieces per hour. Currently, the system is set up to fill 400 grams of hazelnut paste into glass jars, but it can be easily adjusted to accommodate products with different viscosities and volumes. The input voltage required is 380 volts at 50 Hz, consuming 3.5 kW/h of power.

    Capping Unit

    On the other hand, the capping unit, named the “Index In Close,” is a newer model from 2021. It is PLC controlled and capable of capping up to 4500 pieces. Additionally, it includes an automatic cap conveying elevator for streamlined operation. Similar to the filling unit, the capping system is currently configured to cap 400 grams of hazelnut paste in glass jars, but it can be swiftly adjusted to handle products with varying viscosities and volumes. The input voltage for the capping unit is 400 volts at 50 Hz, with a power consumption of 2.3 kW/h.

    Both units are equipped with intermediate conveyors, and the tare material options include plastic or glass. It’s important to note that the entire line has not been in operation for a total of one year.
